This is somewhat old news, but here it is anyway. The owner of the ITC library which includes all Gerry Anderson properties from Fireball XL5 to Space 1999 has announced a merger. The current owner is Carlton in the UK and the merger is with Granada.
Both companies will merge and be known as ITV. All three companies started life as regional TV stations and have subsequently expanded.

Antonia Ellis, Lt. Joan Harrington in Gerry and Sylvia Anderson's UFO, will appear at the San Diego Comic Con International. The event takes place at the San Diego Convention Center, July 21st- 25th, 2004 San Diego, California.
Antonia will be greeting fans and signing autographs in the FAB Gear booth at designated times on Saturday and Sunday, July 24th and 25th. This will be Ellis's first convention appearance.

This comes as no surprise to any serious collector, as we have all been rampantly consuming the incredible Konami vehicles over the past year. TriMedia Entertainment Group and Gerry Anderson Productions plc have signed a deal which allows for US distribution of the new Captain Scarlet CGI series. I suppose we ought to start calling it "Captain Scarlet - The Return of the Mysterons". Full press release below.
