Star InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar Inactive

NCS logoThe website for New Captain Scarlet has come back online after several months of inactivity. This is probably due to broadcast repeats in the UK as well as broadcast again on Animania HD in the US. The site is all Flash so you must have the plugin to see it. Its all about the new series. No apparent mention of the original series.

ImageIn October 2006 Fanderson held their Sector 25 convention in London. This article is PART 1 of a 2 part article on the event. PART 2 will be posted next week. This is a fairly long article. Photos are in the gallery, but I'll try to link in some photos when I post PART 2.

Thunderbirds almost took off again

Star InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar Inactive

Another bit of somewhat old news, but I keep getting emails, so I'm doing a post about it. A couple of years ago, some work was done on a test (not a pilot as previously stated) for a new version of Thunderbirds. This one was to be a combination of computer animation and physical puppets/models. Certainly an intriguing idea. Sadly the project was put on hold when the Granada /Carlton merger took place.

One of the production team has a blog post online here which talks about the production and even includes a short quicktime trailer. Interestingly, the blog is by the man who was to be the Executive Producer of the show. Seems weird to have someone else as the producer of a Thunderbirds show. But then again, it has happened before. Sadly, this one looks like it had some potential.

His main site can be found here

If anyone knows any more about this, please drop me a line...

Sector 25 - update

Star InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar Inactive
The weekend finally drew to a close and the big Fanderson convention, SECTOR 25 ended. I was able to go and I had a great time. It was great to meet up again with friends and meet the guests. I took about 200 photos at the show and have quite a few notes. I will write up and publish a proper review on this site shortly.

In addition, we will have some new articles, interviews and perhaps even a contest or two to come, so stay tuned...
