TV Century 21

October 2007 will see the initial publication of a semi-biography book by Alan Shubrook. Alan worked in the special effects department at Century 21 from Thunderbirds to UFO.

The title is not yet known.

[UPDATED] The book will be 160 pages and hardcover.

The book will feature many unpublished photographs and document Alan's
time in the special effects department at the studio, including; how he
got the job, meeting Derek Meddings for the first time, humourous
stories and tricks of the trade. The stories cover Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, Joe 90, UFO and more..

A full launch is planned for early 2008. However, the book will
be available online from October. Each copy purchased online from the
first print-run will be personally numbered and signed by Alan to the
recipient.
