This is somewhat old news, but here it is anyway. The owner of the ITC library which includes all Gerry Anderson properties from Fireball XL5 to Space 1999 has announced a merger. The current owner is Carlton in the UK and the merger is with Granada.
Both companies will merge and be known as ITV. All three companies started life as regional TV stations and have subsequently expanded. The information below is a selection from a recent document issued by ITV which specifically references the library which includes the Supermarionation shows.
The production division will sell to broadcasters, domestically and internationally, the right tobroadcast programmes and films from its own library, which will be continually supplemented by new productions, as well as on behalf of third party producers.
