Is it me or are all the Anderson show remakes getting a little scary? We have the just-get-it-over-with Thunderbirds movie, a tentative Stingray TV movie, a potentially interesting new Captain Scarlet show and now a movie based on Joe 90 from Disney! TV21 was sent a link to a brief and somewhat odd (what is a "Skein"?) article about the show as featured in the US film industry paper Variety. (thanks to Silvertip)

UFO soundtrack released on LP!

Star InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar Inactive

Here's something interesting: Booth Records has released an official (non-bootleg) vinyl LP containing original music from UFO! This is primarily aimed at club DJs who use the LPs in mixes. The contents is essentially a subset of the music already available on the Fanderson CD. Fanderson assisted in the production of the LP.

The LP has 18 tracks and has a running time of approximately 40 minutes. This will not be released on CD. This is a limited edition run of 500. So hurry!

The LP can be ordered from the web site here.

New Thunderbirds CD and book

Star InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar InactiveStar Inactive

If you liked the Thunderbirds CD released last year, you will be happy to know that a second CD is currently in the planning stage. Details are sketchy at the moment, but it is planned for release around the time of the Thunderbirds movie this summer.

Also, if you read Marc's article on this site and set your heart on obtaining the super-rare and VERY expensive "PINK BOOK" from Asahi Sonorama, you will be pleased to know that Asahi Sonorama has released a Thunderbirds only edition in paperback called "Thunderbirds Album" and it is very affordable at about $30 with postage.

If you want a copy, you can order it from Hobby Link Japan here, who also carry all the new Konami vehicles. Pick up a case of each while you're there!
