Issue 16 of the excellent fanzine Andersonic is now available.

This issue includes two interviews, one with the projectionist from Century 21 and another with a comic strip artist who worked on UFO comics.

Also in this issue, a look at a script from Space:1999 and a look at the UFO episode "Conflict".

In addition, there is a look at the specification guide created during pre-production on Stingray as well as a look at a comic strip based on Thunderbirds.

 

 

Issue 16 is available on the Andersonic website for £2.55. That includes postage within the UK. Other countries (e.g. USA and Australia) need to add a bit more to cover costs.

  • Tony Stacey interview - a new interview with APF/Century 21's Chief Projectionist from Stingray up to UFO. Tony talks about his time at the studio, with tales of alligators, Superswish curtain track, James Bond, T42 and Stanley Unwin.
  • Gerry Haylock Interview - Artist on the UFO and Doctor Who comic strip in 'Countdown' and Land of the Giants in 'Joe 90: Top Secret'. Gerry discusses his time on the strips, his techniques and materials.
