The Animation Art Gallery in Oxford Circus will be hosting a one day exhibition featuring the end titles artwork of Ron Embleton. The exhibition appears to be for one day and intended to co-incide with the first screening of the "New Captain Scarlet" TV show on ITV.
The exhibition opens at 10am. For full details, click the "Read more..." below.
The exhibition seems unlikely to feature original art, rather, it will have the reproductions the art gallery is offering for sale. The originals recently sold at auction for a substantial sum. But it is Ron Embleton...
Some of the art for sale is signed by Francis Matthews, the original voice for Captain Scarlet. There will also be a prize featuring canvas artwork from the new series.
The Full press release can be seen below. If you go, please send me some pics!
