Joe 90

  • Behind the Scenes of "I Love the Joe 90's"

This page contains images and information covering the shooting of the short promo films for the BBC in 2001. A Joe 90 replica puppet and BIG RAT set was made specially for the shoot.

  • Joe 90 CD delayed

The official Joe 90 CD has been delayed about a month. The new (and hopefully final) release date for the Silva Screen CD is now May 15th 2006. Look for more details on the CD as the release approaches...

  • Joe 90 CD in April (updated)

2006 Should be a good year for fans of music from Gerry Anderson's shows. April sees the first ever CD release of the music from Joe 90. The CD will be published by Silva Screen and will contain remastered, original music never before released on CD or vinyl. Expect the usual high quality sound and booklet as we have seen with the recent Thunderbird CDs. Note: the CD cover shown is not the final design.

I'm proud to announce that we have exclusive information about the forthcoming CD. The disc will contain an interview with Barry Gray's musicians, which is a "much revised and extended" article which was originally published in FAB 15.

It will come as a surprise to many that the music was originally recorded in Stereo, so 15 of the 28 tracks are presented in stereo. With well over an hour of music, this CD should be excellent.

The CD will also include exclusive access to a web brochure which outlines the Joe 90 series. Price for the CD will be around £8-11. Look for it this April!

  • New Joe 90 remix

A tune named "Brains90" has been released by Mike Ellis as part of a larger album which is due out later this year. The "Brains90" tune uses the existing Joe 90 theme music, with some slight edits, and then has the voice of Thunderbirds' Brains over-dubbed on the music. The song is available for purchase via a download for $1.50.

  • News on Joe 90 movie

Is it me or are all the Anderson show remakes getting a little scary? We have the just-get-it-over-with Thunderbirds movie, a tentative Stingray TV movie, a potentially interesting new Captain Scarlet show and now a movie based on Joe 90 from Disney! TV21 was sent a link to a brief and somewhat odd (what is a "Skein"?) article about the show as featured in the US film industry paper Variety. (thanks to Silvertip)
