  • Century 21 Convention - an attendee's report

    In October 2000, Fanderson held their largest convention for Gerry Anderson fans. It was also my first ever Gerry Anderson convention. What an experience it was. To commemorate the event, I wrote a detailed report on the convention and present it here for the readers of TV Century 21. For those who were there, it is an opportunity to relive the weekend. For those who were not, you can live vicariously through me.

  • Convention postponed

    The Anderson convention previously announced for July this year has been postponed until October. Further details as they emerge.

  • FAB TV - Gerry Anderson convention to be held July 2004

    UPDATED A 2 day Gerry Anderson convention will be held in Milton Keynes, UK on July 10-11 2004. A great array of guests (at least 15) are set to appear. Displays will include puppets, studio sets, and replica models.

  • Layout of the Convention

    The convention took up two floors of the modest hotel. Almost every large room eventually housed people or artifacts from the Gerry Anderson worlds.

  • Official Gerry Anderson "Andercon" convention announced for 2014

    UPDATED

    Jamie Anderson, son of Gerry Anderson, has announced a new fan convention to celebrate the works of his father.

    The event will take place on April 19-20th 2014 at Park Inn Hotel, Heathrow Airport, London, England.

    Several guests are confirmed, as well as some interesting displays of props and other production related items.

  • Photos from Convention

    A ton of photos have been placed into the TV21 gallery (see left). This is mostly the items on display at the exhibitition, but also includes some shots of the replica FAB1.

    As I did not attend the event, I cannot post any further news on the event. Full details on the convention can be found on the Fanderson site.

  • UFO star to appear at US comic convention!

    Antonia Ellis, Lt. Joan Harrington in Gerry and Sylvia Anderson's UFO, will appear at the San Diego Comic Con International. The event takes place at the San Diego Convention Center, July 21st- 25th, 2004 San Diego, California.

    Antonia will be greeting fans and signing autographs in the FAB Gear booth at designated times on Saturday and Sunday, July 24th and 25th. This will be Ellis's first convention appearance.
