UK – Day 6: A little walk

This morning I went for a walk to stock up on eggs and bread. It was a 5 minute walk. I guess that pretty much sums up life in a very small town/village. It was grey  and damp but thankfully not raining.

The light this time of day is very pleasing, so I took my camera and got a few photos in.

What really strikes me is how quiet it is, despite the fact there are tons of houses and people and traffic, it somehow seems fairly quiet and certainly not rushed. It’s all very chocolate box English village quaint, but in a good way.
