It appears that ITV in the UK is working on a new production of Thunderbirds.

Very little is known right now other than it will potentially air in 2015.

Production is at least in part being done by WETA in New Zealand. Yes, I think the folks behind the special effects on the LOTR movies...

The image to the right is from a website for broadcasters, but the image appears to have vanished.

"Thunderbirds Being Revived for CITV

LONDON, February 4: ITV Studios is re-inventing the classic Thunderbirds series in collaboration with Pukeko Pictures to bring the show back for a 2015 debut on CITV, which is 50 years on from its original television premiere."

 

Lastly, there is a fairly long article from the same date in the Hollywood Reporter, which details some associated staff. It will be a combination of live action and CGI apparently.
