Happy New Year?

Yup. I know. A lot of radio silence over the past few months. I swear I’ll post the complete photo collection from Europe later this month. If you are very good, I’ll put in some details on the trip to Holland. Hint: It was beautiful.

The last 6-7 months have been interesting and quite different. I am making some changes in my life.

I know I am very fortunate. And yet the changes going on are affecting me more than I expected. Sometimes it’s financial and sometimes it’s more personal.

On the plus side, I am no longer worried about meeting new people and making friends. Something I was never good at, but at least I can try now.

I know that I am on the brink of being “free” again soon. This will give me a chance to rethink who I am, what I am and where I am. I have no answers right now, only questions. In some ways it is exciting. In other ways, it is scary. But in every time of my life when a major change happens, it usually works out.

The only things we regret are the things we choose not to do. This has happened a few times, and each time I regretted it, although things didn’t get terrible, I will always wonder. “what if”.
